Plan Your Posts in Advance

Week 1 Takeaway Tip > Plan Your Posts in Advance

2018 BLOG PLANNER - ABlake Enterprises (1)

To stay organized you want to have at least 5 posts in draft.  Use a spreadsheet or create a content calendar like the one above.  Life happens and you want to be able to take a vacation too!

A content calendar or planner will help you stay organized and track your progress.

Add monthly topics and content ideas to the content planner.  Holidays and other important dates will fuel your brain when creating content.

Your content should be relevant and timely.

Posting should be consistent, choose a schedule that you can stick to > 1, 2, 3 or more times per week.  How many days are you able to consistently post?

Connect with other bloggers to grow and build your community.  However, be honest and don’t try to copy another blogger’s style or material.

“Sharing is caring, Stealing is Not!

  • Content is King, quality over quantity.
  • Cite sources when curating content.
  • Always use images or digital media.
  • Use social media to promote your blog.
